Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. Hebrews 4:16 (Amp)
The reality is there are believers who struggles in their Christian walk and failure often occurs. But failure doesn’t have to be permanent. God has given us direct access to Him when failure occurs. For believers there is “The Throne of Grace”, not judgment. The apostle Paul tells us to go boldly “with confidence and without fear” to this place of refuge.
Be quick to repent when failure occurs then ask God for the grace to overcome the obstacles in your life that led to failure. Grace is not only the unmerited favor of God it is also the empowerment by God to do or to be.
In 1 Corinthians 15:10 the apostle Paul says: “but [only] by the grace of God I am what I am.” The grace of God enabled Paul to be and do what he did.
My friends, the grace of God can and will enable you to overcome any and every obstacle in your life. By the grace of God you can do what you can’t do on your own. So, when failure occurs, run to God not from Him. Then Accept God’s grace, let go of guilt, and move forward with your life.
Finally, it will also benefit you to commit to a consistent prayer life and the study of God’s word. The more you learn about God and His plans for your life the deeper your love and commitment will be for Him. God loves you.
